Woodstock Summer of Love: CPW 40th Anniversary Exhibition Fundraiser

Added on by Elise Kirk.

The Center for Photography at Woodstock is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with an exhibition fundraiser, and I am happy to have an image ("Chick") included for sale therein.  I was very fortunate to be part of the CPW Photography Now 2016 exhibition last year and am grateful for all that CPW does to build and support photographic community. Check out the work of some 70 artists showing CPW love, and buy a small print

Photography Now 2016 at the Center for Photography at Woodstock has been extended through July 10. That's a few more summer weeks to check out this exhibition of contemporary photographers exploring identity and representation, as curated by James Estrin of the New York Times. I'm beyond honored to have work from my own series Mid— included therein.

New Work: In-Progress Picture Posts

Added on by Elise Kirk.

I'm endeavoring to share more new work as I process it, and recent outtakes or one-offs that may not otherwise see the backlight of a screen.  I'll aim to post close to weekly, and you can follow along over on the blog.

I'm kicking things off with this shot I made with good boy Buster and his man Terry last summer, while shooting for my series, Mid—.

Which reminds me of an earlier shot I made of Buster and Terry some five years back, so I dug that one up too.
